Quick Overview:

Sempervivum ‘Peggy’ brings constantly changing color to the sunny rock garden. Rosettes are deep purple in the spring, turning dark red during the heat of summer. The colder temperatures of late fall and winter bring out shades of rich brown and mahogany. Sempervivum ‘Peggy’ prolifically produces chicks around the main rosette. After just one or two seasons in the garden, a tight, dense colony.

Description

Easily grown in acidic, average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates some light shade. Likes sandy or gravelly soils. Tolerates poor soils.
