Quick Overview:

‘Triple Play’ is an excellent mid spring blooming Phlox for the front of the border. It spreads to form a dense 1 ft tall mass of variegated white and green foliage. When in bloom this Phlox steals the show with lavender pink flowers on stems sanding slightly above the beautiful foliage.

Description

Best grown in moderately fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Prefers rich, moist, organic soils. Tolerates more soil moisture than most other species of phlox. Avoid overhead watering, however. Appreciates a summer mulch which helps keep roots cool. Remove faded flower clusters to prolong bloom and to prevent unwanted self-seeding.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
