Quick Overview:

This selection forms a low clump of bright-green leaves, loaded with upright spikes of clear rose-pink flowers for many weeks during the summer. An easy and carefree plant. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming time. Clumps are easily divided in early spring or fall. Flowers are attractive to butterflies.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Best performance occurs with consistent, regular moisture combined with sharp soil drainage, particularly in winter. Plants have shallow roots and are generally intolerant of dry soil conditions. Tolerates light shade. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional bloom. Plants may be cut back to basal growth after flowering.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
