Three Square Rush is a hardy marginal pond plant that adds a touch of elegance to any water garden. This perennial plant features slender, upright stems with distinctive three-sided stems, giving it a unique architectural look. The foliage is a vibrant green, creating a striking contrast against the water’s surface. This plant has an aggressive, creeping rhizomatous root system and therefore may not be suitable for small landscape plantings outside of containers, but it is an excellent choice where shoreline stabilization and erosion control is needed.
