The Korean rock fern is a charming low-growing evergreen with a dusky dark green countenance. The rather upright 12? to 15? fronds have a prominent contrasting dark stripe up the middle, adding interest to the overall appearance.
This is a species that will do well indoors or out, and is popular for flower arranging (where it will outlive the flowers).

Best grown in organically rich, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Consider planting rhizome at an angle to help combat potential crown rot problems which can occur in poorly drained soils. Although rhizomatous, this fern will not spread or naturalize, however clumps will increase in size over time.
