Purple Beauty’ Creeping Phlox is a true gem in the spring garden with gorgeous, bright purple blooms and deep violet center eyes. This 4-6″ tall spreading perennial flowers in the springtime under full sun, but can be planted under trees that leaf out and create shade later in the season. Description

Phlox subulata performs well in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Prefers neutral to alkaline soils. Thrives in gritty, sandy loams. Superior soil drainage is the key to growing this plant well. Good heat and drought tolerance.  Shear back after flowering to promote denser plants.
