Quick Overview:

Narihira is a dense 3′-4′ high and wide shrub for part to full shade.  The soft textured compound leaves add a fern-like texture to the shade garden and the bright yellow flowers add a splash of color in the fall.  Grows best in fertile, slightly acidic soil with good drainage.

Description

Easily grown in moist, well-drained soils in part shade (morning sun or sun dappled shade) to full shade. Also tolerates full sun, particularly in the northern parts of its growing range. Established plants tolerate some soil dryness and drought. Site in locations protected from exposure to strong winds.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
