Good drainage is a must for this plant.
$8.99
An ideal plant for rock gardens, slopes, and cascading over retaining walls, this sun loving alpine forms a low, sprawling mat of dark green, evergreen, needle-like foliage. As it ages, the long, prostrate stems become woody but respond very well to pruning after the flowering cycle is over. Gentian blue flowers appear in mid April through June.
