Quick Overview:

Twilight is a wonderful large sized crape myrtle with excellent form & shape.  The dark foliage is contrasted by masses of purple blooms that usually start in late June, and last well into September. Smooth, colorful peeling bark provides year-round interest. Good mildew resistance along with excellent heat and drought tolerance make this an excellent choice for a landscape specimen. a popular choice for lining driveways, roadways, fences, or in groupings as a stunning showpiece for your yard.

Description

Best grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Does well in loamy, clay soils with good drainage. Benefits from a slow release fertilizer. Overly fertile soils tend to produce lush foliage growth at the expense of flowering with somewhat increased susceptibility to winter injury. Water roots deeply, particularly in dry spells, but avoid wetting the foliage.
