?White Swirl? is a Siberian iris that features white flowers with yellow throats. Flowers bloom in spring (May-June) on rigid, unbranched stems rising to 2-3′ tall above a clump of arching, narrow, grass-like, linear leaves. Flowers are beardless and ruffled. Leaves have a hint of blue-green. Flowers give way to slender seed pods which some gardeners find attractive. Clumps will grow together and snuff out most weeds. After bloom, the vase-shaped foliage clump will retain its blue-green color into the fall. Excellent cut flower, but usually lasts only two days.

Easily grown in average, medium to wet soil in full sun to part shade. An adaptable plant which tolerates a wide range of soils. It is best grown in very moist, fertile, slightly acid soil, including boggy conditions, but will also tolerate a poor, dry soil because its thick roots penetrate the soil deeply.
