Quick Overview:

The cultivar ‘Kita No Seiza’ has large, stunning double blue violet flowers with white veins which measure 5 ½ inch across. There are 6 falls but the standards are absent. It stands 28 inches tall and blooms in mid season, while the thin, grass like foliage remains a highlight throughout the summer.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium to wet soil in full sun to part shade. An adaptable plant which tolerates a wide range of soils. It is best grown in very moist, fertile, slightly acid soil, including boggy conditions, but will also tolerate a poor, dry soil because its thick roots penetrate the soil deeply.   (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
