Quick Overview:

‘Regal Splendor? is a large hosta featuring thick, cordate, wavy-undulate, blue-gray leaves (to 11" by 6") with irregular creamy white to pale yellow margins and cuspidate tips. Leaves grow in a vase-shaped mound to 36" tall and 34" wide. Bell-shaped, lavender flowers bloom in mid to late summer on naked light gray-green scapes rising to 3-5’ tall. ‘Regal Splendor’ is a sport of Hosta ‘Krossa Regal’.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. Does best in rich, moist, organic soils in light, sun-dappled shade. Divide plants as needed in spring or autumn (perhaps easiest in early spring before the leaves unfurl).
