Quick Overview:

‘Krossa Regal’ is a large to giant hosta (hybrid of H. nigrescens) that typically grows in an upright, vase-shaped (rather than the more typical mounding) habit to 3′ tall spreading to 3-6′ wide. Smooth, thick, widely-veined, frosty blue-green to gray-blue leaves (to 12" long by 7" wide) have slightly wavy margins, cuspidate tips and rounded lobes. Trumpet-shaped, lavender flowers (each to 5" long) bloom in mid to late summer (July-August) atop unusually tall scapes rising well above the foliage to 5-6′ high.
