Quick Overview:

Flowers earlier in the Summer than typical Joe-Pye Weed varieties, and will have a bloom time extending well into late-Summer and Fall. One of the first compact Eupatorium for the modern garden landscape. Very attractive to pollinators and butterflies.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium to wet. well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, fertile, humusy soils which do not dry out. Cut plants to the ground in late winter. Best propagated by stem cuttings.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
