‘Baby Joe’ is a compact selection of the large growing Joe Pye weed. In late summer the plant blooms with flat topped heads of small, mauve-purple flowers. The flowers are extremely attractive to butterflies and bees.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium to wet. well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, fertile, humusy soils which do not dry out. Cut plants to the ground in late winter. Best propagated by stem cuttings.
