Quick Overview:

Echinacea ‘Green Twister’ is a seed strain selection of a natural mutation of ‘Magnus’ and overwinters well.  ‘Green Twister’ is a compact, sturdy plant with horizontal facing petals that change in color from edges of lemon green to a bright carmine red center. Colors vary by flower and give a pleasing range of color pattern.

Description

Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun. This is an adaptable plant that is tolerant of drought, heat, humidity and poor soil. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years). Plants rebloom well without deadheading, however prompt removal of spent flowers encourages continued bloom and improves general appearance.  Allow some seedheads to remain if you want the plants to reseed and for the birds.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
