Quick Overview:

The first gold foliage Dicentra spectabilis with true red flowers. Developed from purposeful breeding, all other gold foliage varieties have been mutations. The stems are strong and upright, the flowers are large and numerous but the color… WOW, brilliant red with a touch of unusual orange! A great container habit and is long lasting in the garden; a great improvement over the still popular ‘Gold Heart’. Exceptional vigor.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soils in part shade. Prefers consistently moist, rich, humusy soils. Soils must not be allowed to dry out during summer. Intolerant of wet soils in winter. Promptly remove spent flowering stems to promote additional bloom. (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
