Quick Overview:

This upright dwarf Japanese cedar cultivar has a generally columnar shape but is quite irregular. Full sun produces best growth results, but it can tolerate some shade. ‘Black Dragon’ is a great substitute for dwarf Alberta spruce in hotter climates. It has very dark green foliage with prominent cones.
