Quick Overview:

VENUS is noted for its vigorous habit, large-bracted flowers, profuse bloom and resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew. It is a small deciduous tree with a dense, low-branched, spreading habit and is stated by the inventors to be more vigorous than current known cultivars of Cornus kousa. It has superior foliage and large flowers. Just make sure it is well-drained and gets at least some sun. It will eventually reach 25 feet in height with a similar spread. The summer foliage is a handsome dark green while autumn turns it a rich red.  The bright red strawberry-like fruits hang from the branches in autumn as well.
