Quick Overview:

Low-maintenance, long-blooming and cheerful! Golden-apricot, wider petals cup slightly upwards with tips dusted with just a smidgeon of cinnamon. A rich mocha-brown button dots each center. Wispy foliage softens a border with its thread-like texture.  Coreopsis Butter Rum is part of the PermaThread™ Series developed by Darrell Probst. The dainty, finely-cut foliage adds texture and interesting contrast to surrounding perennials.

Description

Easily grown in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. Tolerant of heat, humidity and drought. Prompt deadheading of spent flower stalks can be tedious for a large planting, but does tend to encourage additional bloom. Plants may be sheared in mid to late summer to promote a fall rebloom and to remove any sprawling or unkempt foliage.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
