Quick Overview:

A hybrid selection developed with the largest flowers to date. This forms a compact clump of dark-green leaves, with loads of upright stems that hold masses of large, star-shaped, yellow daisies; each petal sporting a dark burgundy centre. Blooming starts in late spring and continues for many weeks if faded flowers are removed. Terrific for the front of a sunny border or in containers. Dislikes being overly dry, so water during drought. Tolerates hot, humid summers.

Description

Easily grown in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. Tolerant of heat, humidity and drought. Prompt deadheading of spent flower stalks can be tedious for a large planting, but does tend to encourage additional bloom. Plants may be sheared in mid to late summer to promote a fall rebloom and to remove any sprawling or unkempt foliage.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Garden Plant Finder)
