Quick Overview:

Colocasia needs plenty of warmth, humidity and moist soil to thrive. Outside, grow in dappled shade, in moist, rich soil in a sheltered spot.

Description

A dazzling new Colocasia, ‘Waikiki’ has corrugated green leaves which emerge with a dark back. As the back changes from purple to green, the leaf front develops a wide central white pattern with a purple dot. The purple overlay quickly expands over the white and then flows into the veins. By the time the leaf matures, the central pattern and veins are entirely purple. It can take two seasons for the plant to show it’s mature beauty. Colocasia ‘Waikiki’ is an exquisite specimen that must be grown to be believed. Bright sun and moist soil are best in humid climates.
