Quick Overview:

Gold Cone has golden yellow outer needles with bluish green inner needles.  The pendulous branches make a graceful statement in the landscape.  This quick growing selection has a pyramidal growth habit and is relatively narrow compared to the species.

Description

Best grown in deep, moist but well-drained, acidic loams in full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Intolerant of poorly drained wet soils. Best tolerance of the true cedars for hot and humid summers.
