Buxus ‘Highlander’ is a fast growing upright boxwood. The foliage maintains the same dark green color of Buxus sempervirens, but is slightly larger in size. May grow as much as 24″ – 30″ per year.

Best grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, sandy loams. Tolerant of pruning and shearing. Avoid cultivating around plants because they have shallow roots. Roots appreciate a good mulch.
