Quick Overview:

‘Dee Runk’ is an excellent upright cultivar with a naturally vertical habit. With some pruning, it can be a tight conical shape. It will develop a broader columnar habit with little to no pruning. Use as an excellent choice for narrow hedges or accenting a door or corner. Deer resistant.

Description

Best grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, sandy loams. Tolerant of pruning and shearing. Avoid cultivating around plants because they have shallow roots. Roots appreciate a good mulch. (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Garden Plant Finder)
