Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers organically rich soils. Will grow in sandy or clay soils. Generally tolerates poor soils and some drought. Good air circulation and consistently moist soils with good drainage help reduce incidence of foliar diseases. Thinning stems in summer promotes better air circulation. Pinching stems back is usually not required due to compact plant size. Plants may not come true from seed, so consideration should be given to cutting back stems after flowering to prevent self-seeding. Plants may be cut to the ground after flowering.
