‘Calidora’ upright elephant ear is a cultivar with very large, attractive, tropical-looking leaves.  The plant will grow 5-9 feet tall in a vase shape with arrow-shaped ribbed leaves that can become 6 feet long and 3 feet wide.

Description

Best grown in fertile, humusy, organically rich, medium to wet soils in shade to sun. When growing plants in garden soils, provide regular moisture, especially during dry summer periods, and do not allow soils to dry out.  Plants produce prodigious amounts of growth and appreciate regular fertilization during the growing season. Site plants in locations protected from strong winds.
