Quick Overview:

One of several recent hybrid selections, this is a real workhorse in the garden, flowering nonstop from midsummer well into the autumn and it’s easy to grow. It forms a low, bushy mound bearing upright spikes of coconut, orange and rose-pink plumes that attract both hummingbirds and butterflies. Fragrant. Great in containers or in a mixed border. Must have excellent drainage, particularly during winter otherwise plants may rot and not survive.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerant of some light shade. Good soil drainage is essential. Plants will perform poorly and may not survive winter in hard clay soils that retain moisture. Plants tolerate heat and some dry soils once established. Deadhead spent flowers to promote additional bloom.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
