Quick Overview:

‘Commemoration’ sugar maple is a fast growing, grand shade tree, with thick, glossy, leathery dark-green leaves. The thick leaves are resistant to tattering in our frequent wind storms which keeps the tree looking its best through the summer. In the fall, the entire tree transforms to pumpkin-orange with blushes of red almost two weeks before other sugar maples and the color holds well into the autumn even after a hard killing frost.
