Quick Overview:

Elizabeth is a very attractive dwarf Japanese maple with a dense bushy upright form. New growth is bright red and very vivid with the older foliage turning maroon. The color holds well into the summer even in hot climates. Elizabeth is fast growing when young, but will slow down when older staying very compact. Originated as a witch’s broom mutation.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers lightly dappled shade. Leaves may scorch in full sun in hot southern summers.
