Rappahannock is characterized by medium fruit size with firm flesh, and few seeds (approx 7% by weight). Consistent size and symmetrical shape. This fruit typically exhibits a yellowish color break at picking stage. Flavor is cheerful and very sweet, with a pleasant, lingering aftertaste. This tree has an unusual leaf habit, where the leaf is held horizontal-to-upright, making the fruit more visible under the canopy of leaves
