Quick Overview:

This plant is from the grassy slops of Siberia, Japan and China. Heads of warm yellow  to orange starry flowers fade to handsome bronze seedheads, reddish stems, long, toothed green leaves creating overall an interesting effect. Peak bloom in midsummer.  Very drought tolerant once established. Clump-forming. Not evergreen. No disease issues. Little to no maintenance needed after planting.  A perfect plant for banks and slopes, sunny flower borders and beds, a cottage & informal garden, gravel garden, or for use in a green roof.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
