Quick Overview:

Fun to say, the exploding ruffled, multi-petaled dark violet-blue flowers are large, 5-6” across and gorgeous! Intricate creamy white blazes with just a glimmer of yellow intensify its elegance.

More delicately flowered than Bearded Iris, Siberians are very adaptable and easy to grow. Equally at home in the flower border, or a moist (even bog) garden.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium to wet soil in full sun to part shade. An adaptable plant which tolerates a wide range of soils. It is best grown in very moist, fertile, slightly acid soil, including boggy conditions, but will also tolerate a poor, dry soil because its thick roots penetrate the soil deeply.
