Quick Overview:

Make the most of spring with this super long bloomer! Double Take Eternal White quince is worthy of its name with plentiful creamy white blooms AND all of the buds that keep it flowering all spring long. Weeks longer than its fellow quince! Its flowers are nicely displayed on the wider than tall habit. This short height makes it easy to harvest from in a cut flower garden, and it looks lovely planted as a drift in the middle of the border.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Best flowering occurs in full sun. Adapts to a wide range of soil conditions, but prefers well-drained loams. Established plants tolerate dryish soils. Plants bloom on old growth. Avoid heavy pruning. Prune to shape as needed in spring after flowering to stimulate growth of flowering spurs which will improve bloom for the following year (although such pruning will reduce fruit production for the current year). Promptly remove root suckers to control possible spread. (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Garden Plant Finder)
