False Sunflowers are reliable for their very long season of bloom. This selection forms bushy mound of cream and green variegated leaves, bearing branching heads of large, double, sunny-yellow, daisy flowers. Outstanding cut flowers. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly extend the blooming season. Easily divided in early spring. A selection of one of our native wildflowers. Attractive to butterflies. The variegated foliage of this variety seems to appreciate some afternoon shade in our area.

Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought, but does best if regularly watered. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including poor, infertile ones.
