Acer palmatum ‘Hupp’s Dwarf’ leaves emerge in spring as small peach colored leaves that are stacked close to one another. As the leaves mature they turn to a light green. But all the new flushes of growth continue to be the peach color and over lay the rich green mature leaves in the background. Fall leaf colors for ‘Hupp’s Dwarf’ Japanese maple range from bright oranges to reds.  ‘Hupp’s Dwarf’ is extremely heat tolerant and because of its dwarf growth habit can fit in nearly any space in the garden or landscape. ‘Hupp’s Dwarf’ is great for rock gardens, and container planting.
