Very large 3? -4?, golden yellow blossoms with an anemone-like center and short ray petals are the signature feature of this cheerful sunflower. Butterflies delight in their sweet nectar from mid through late summer.
With a habit much like a dahlia, the colorful blossoms are perched atop upright plants with purple, branched stems and green leaves. ‘Happy Days’ is relatively short for a Helianthus, so it works well in the middle of the flower border.
