‘Gyukuryu’ is a dwarf Japanese cedar that has an interesting irregular pyramidal habit creating a unique silhouette in the landscape. It is broadly conical. Use as an individual specimen or plant in groups for greater interest. Deep green foliage does not become bronze in winter. Evergreen.

Description

Best grown in moist, rich, fertile, acidic, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates light shade. Soils should not be allowed to dry out. Site in a location protected from drying winter winds.
