Quick Overview:

The Kwanzan cherry is a lovely lawn specimen that puts on an incredible early season show with clusters of large, double deep pink blooms backed by bronzy-red new growth. It is considered to be one of the most ornamental of the flowering cherries. It is vase-shaped form with a rounded crown that spreads with age, making the tree wider than it is tall at maturity. The new leaves are bronze colored, turning to dark green, then yellow, orange, or copper in fall. This is a fruitless cultivar.  (Courtesy of Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant Finder)
