An advanced generation interspecific hybrid, part of the historic Stellar Series. The plants are distinguished by their extreme vigor and rapid growth, attractive dark green foliage, very floriferous and consistent annual display of rounded, slightly overlapping white floral bracts. Hyperion Flowering Dogwood has demonstrated a high level of winter hardiness, high tolerance of sunlight, drought and shady conditions (to over 50% shade), high resistance to insect pests, and high resistance to Powdery Mildew and Dogwood Anthracnose.
