Description

Small leaves splashed with gold looks great planted at the edges of landscape beds or in containers where it’s allowed to spill over the sides. It has a subtle, mild flavor that won?t overwhelm foods, whether used fresh or dried. Oreganos are a must for Mediterranean cooking, and have been used as a folk remedy for ailments such as arthritis, diabetes and muscle spasms, as well as sore throats. The essential oils are a natural antiseptic. Leaves can be harvested throughout the growing season, to encourage bushiness. Variegated Oregano thrives in full sun or partial shade, but will do best with no overwatering.
