Quick Overview:

‘Blue Angel? is a giant, blue-leaved hosta that grows in a mound to 36" tall and to 48" wide. It features thick, heavy-textured, slightly convex, wide-oval, blue-green leaves (to 16" by 12") with light marginal undulations, ribbed veins, cuspidate tips and cordate bases. Bell-shaped, pale lavender to white flowers bloom in a dense raceme in mid-summer atop an erect, leafy, gray-green scape rising to 48" tall. This is one of the largest of the blue-leaved hostas.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. Does best in rich, moist, organic soils in light, sun-dappled shade. Divide plants as needed in spring or autumn (perhaps easiest in early spring before the leaves unfurl).
