Quick Overview:

Indispensable herb for the garden chef, and a wonderful ornamental plant in the xeric border. Very attractive yellow-green leaves adorn this hardy mint plant. Ginger Mint is ideal to use in soups, summer salads, mint tea and more. Perfect for stir-fry dishes, Ginger Mint adds a zesty flavor and texture to your culinary dishes. Excellent dried or fresh. Ginger Mint will readily make itself at home in full sun to partial shade in moist soil.

Ginger Mint (also known as Slender Mint or Scotch Mint) is a delightful gold flecked mint with an aromatic fruit scented aroma with just a hint of ginger. This mint is normally available from June onwards. There are over one thousand varities of mint, but only about a dozen or so are worth growing in your garden, patio or window boxes. They are ideal for the beginner gardener or a fantastic way to introduce children to growing and gardening. Very easy to grow and making themselves at home in both full shade (even on a North facing wall) or full sun with very little maintenance required.
